Snow and high spirits during our first official premiere of our new piece “In pursuit of” in Tromsø in November! After almost three year’s of work the music has settled and is finally at peace. Wuh! Looking forward to bringing it to new stages in the coming years!

“IN PURSUIT OF” - FinAL STAGEs
— I have been creating a new work for “Miriam Kibakaya Concept” since December 2022! I decided to develop this piece from one idea, and it has changed a lot just through the passage of time during the last almost two and a half years. From March going into spring we’ll be working on making the last parts all come together and finally; ready for the stage for the first time.
“In pursuit of” is composed around spoken word texts and poems inspired by Fernando Pessoa, Audre Lorde, and Trondheim Jazzorchestra

january-March with naema
- Recording an album
— I had lots of time to write, find new inspirations and work in January, which also included finishing the final arrangements for our debut album with naema “Sun & Moon”. We went to record it in Athletic Sound in February. It´s gonna be a slow process from here, but I am super excited to share this one with you.
