There are stones in your body

your worry

your fear

your sorrow ———— slowly turned to stone

There are stories in your body

Stories turned to stone

Heavy

The load is heavy

And still a long way to go

One day the dam will break

your tears will rush unto stone

and you’ll become a river

carrying stones in your belly down the hillside

grinding them

grinding them

until they turn into ssssssand

Your sand

Lay quiet

Along the river bed

As the stars watched

and the wind blew

warm

on skin

you did not say a word

not when we came with our machines

Without asking we dug into your belly and sent you off in pieces

In silence you are scattered

Your sand can not speak

but the hollow in your body made room for more tears

and when the rain came

you tore at the edges and swallowed the big houses we´d maaaaaaade

from the earnings of selling you

in pieces
