With Sun & Moon, the emerging experimental jazz collective Naema brings us into a late night atmosphere, where restless thoughts are weaved together with captivating grooves and soulful melodies.
The debut album is an exploration of the open compositional structures from the traditional jazz format mixed with elements from neo soul, free jazz and power jazz.
Throughout the various tracks, Naema's musical signature shows itself in the band's rough and improvisational Live-sound, where collective musicing and rhythm work as the foundation of the expression.
Since the band's inception in 2022, Naema has performed at festivals such as by:Larm, Trondheim Calling and Oslo Jazz festival.
The album is released by the record label, Pluritone.
